A Surgical Procedure to Treat Cellulite
Cellulite is most women – and men are rarely affected with this disease. 90% of women have cellulite, usually in the legs, abdomen and pelvis. Cellulite is the wavy appearance of the skin. Causes are not fully known, but most women are not so well – and I delete most of all Shell “orange”. This is the motivation for what many consider surgery – especially in the aesthetic aspects.
It is generally hard to treat cellulite. Medically speaking, there is no known cure for cellulite. Numerous therapies have been tried in history, but none really shows any promising curing cellulite. The single most effective preventive measure for cellulite is to closely control your lifestyle in the first place. Eat healthy, sleep well, and exercise regularly. However, we all know this is easier said than done. To most, surgery is the most convenient way to remedy their cellulite problems.
There are some surgical procedures available to help reduce cellulite. Popular examples include:
# 1 – liposuction – If cellulite reduction, but also help remove the fat built in localized areas. The method is a hollow tube that sucks the fat in problem areas. The method can be used in the exact shape of your body to decide what you want.
#2 – Lower body lift or cellulite lift – The procedure requires the surgeon to make an incision around the abdominal region. Excess skin and fat can then be removed and the abdomen, thigh, and buttocks can be tightened and lifted. This procedure is also known as the “tummy tuck.”
#3 – Mesotherapy – This is a non-invasive procedure, but it involves injecting a variety of medications in trouble areas to induce cellulite breakup. The procedure is done multiple times over a period of time until the desired result is achieved.
It strongly recommends that people add to undergo surgery cellulite regular exercise in medical practice. Exercise helps burn fat and can improve skin elasticity.
Cellulite surgery is not cheap. They often cost a lot of money, and it is sometimes hard to find a good, experienced physician to do the procedure. A lot of factors should also be considered when deciding to go under the knife. Such procedures may necessitate you to go on a leave of absence from work, as some of the surgeries require a few days of recovery time.
Bruising and swelling can also be a side effect of surgery. In some cases, uneven appearance and skin discoloration can last for months. These surgeries are not 100% foolproof. Some people who undergo such procedures end up looking worse, or they sometimes require additional surgery to fix the procedures side effects.
It’s always good to consider other alternatives, and it works only as a last resort.
