Will Lipo Disolve Replace Liposuction
With some 90% of women in the United States having some degree of cellulite on their body it’s no wonder they want to get rid of it. Exercise and eating right can be done properly and the unsightly bumps can still never seem to go away. There is one newer solution to this problem. It is a new treatment called Lipodisolve and it is a great alternative to liposuction. The drug that makkes up the lipodisolve injection is called phosphatidyclcholine. It is injected into the fatty areas and helps to break down fat deposits and can help to eliminate that unwanted cellulite.
Most women who have tried them can attest that topical creams typically have no effect on cellulite. They simply don’t penetrate deep enough into the skin. In contrast, lipo disolve is injected directly into the affected areas of the body. It is believed to simulate the body’s natural process for breaking down cellulite and expelling it from the body. However, more research still needs to be conducted to determine if this process is effective. It has not yet been conclusively determined that the body actually expels the excess fat.
Lipodisolve really shines when it comes to melting the fat away from areas that diet and exercise just don’t seem to be able to fix. The treatment has been around for 10 years now and there have not been any signs of medical side effects in patients that have the treatment. The drug used in the lipo disolve was used primarily in treating patients that had cardiac disease in the past. It is now used for the lipodisolve treatments. The most effective areas for this treatment are in areas such as the butt, abdomen, thighs, and the certain areas of the face.
Typically the procedure is administered by a trained and licensed professional. Usually each area is treated with several injections while the patient is in a prone position. Recovery time is minimal. The patient can typically return immediately to their normal daily activities. Most patients require 3-4 sessions over a period of several months for the maximum result to be seen. However, it is important that patients participating in lipo disolve contine following a strict regime of diet and exercise throughout the procedure as well as afterwards or the excess fat could return. It is also essential to drink plenty of fluids and massage the area every night for approximately two weeks.
There have not been any major side effects that have come about from lipodisolve. Since the treatments have only have 10 years of testing it is hard to say if they could be any long term side effects. In most cases there will be mild bruising and swelling to the treated areas. The only downfall that there might be at this stage of the game is that fact that each doctor uses somewhat different ratios of the drug for the treatments so it might be hard to say if there will be varying long term effects.
The basic cost of each treatment can range from $150 all the way up to $1500 depnding on the area being treated and the size of that area. Around 90% of people that have the lipodisovle treatment are satisfied with the results although the treatment doesn’t work for everyone.
Lipodisolve is not safe for pregnant women, those planning on being pregnant within 6 months, breast feeding women, people with liver or kidney disease, or an autoimmune disease. It is always important to consult with a physician and do extensive research concerning your candidacy before undergoing this treatment.
